This has pretty much completely won me over, after having some initial hesitations on track 2 and 3, like most. In a way I think this can almost be looked at as Burial's first concept album. And in that regard, he becomes a manipulator of sorts, using jarring samples with already preconceived notions of style attached to them to get a point across. (It's not like he didn't know exactly what he was doing, and exactly how people would react, to dat 80s drum fill). Favorite moment is track 3 when second movement with the warm major chords starts, but then he drops the sinister dulcimer sounding loop back over it.

The Reign of Kindo Rhythm, Chord & Melody
Band is goddamn impressive on every level. I loved This Day & Age, and the Kindo EP. Their shortcomings, imo, are there tendency to resort to the same major chord upswings in their refrains and - though the vocalist is talented - his lyrics can be overwrought to just downright corny a lot of the time. That said, 'Moments in Between, Let It Go and Morning Cloud (amazing, understated riff), are all amazing.

My Epic Broken Voice
Another quality release musically, but it's essentially like attending bible class, with no ambiguity or subtlety whatsoever, which is a game breaker for me. Edit @BroFro: My issue is that, dissimilar to their other releases, he doesn't seem to challenge any of his religious themes at all, or use any ambiguity; on this one he just seems to be preaching.
