| Am I the only one who thinks Brand New is going downhill with each CD? I will admit I am a huge fan of the first two albums, but what the hell is this. I understand artists change over time, but this is nothing like what I originally liked about this band. It seemed they tried to get more "experimental." It just does not work, and I can not get into any of these songs. This CD was not for me, but I can understand other people may enjoy it. It just isn't the same Brand New for me, that I know and enjoy. The only reason I gave this a 2, was because musically it is pretty well done. And the start and end I thought were a cool touch with the intro to the first and outro to the last track. And it didn't sound like a horrible recording to me, just not my cup of tea and seen as a regression. |
