| Did myself a disservice by listening to this. Bonus point for having the same general feel/appeal of CoF, but after repeated attempts to get into their post-90s records, this doesn't sell me. It's certainly a spectacle sound-wise, with a lot happening instrumentally and some great ideas, but powerless. One genuine praise I can give this record are the solos. Those go really hard, but beyond that, nothing. |
