| Mer De Noms and Thirteenth Step both supply some brilliantly moody and memorable moments carried by great rock/pop sensibilities. As a bit of a Maynard fanboy, I was eager but apprehensive entering Eat The Elephant. Between the god fucking awful album art, the lyrics, the directionless song structures, the forgettable melodies, this album was not worth the wait by any stretch. |
