| this is one of the most enjoyable 2/5 albums you can hear in the punk-ska sphere. of course you have to be already aware of ASOB BTMI and Jeff in general. This album is terrible, in the most fun of ways. It's the rawest, hardest, most ugly, most out-of-tune, ska-punk. The horn are out of tune 50% of the time, you will question how 2445 was even considered for recording. Sexist terms like "bitch" and "dick" are thrown around without much a care (jeff was like 17 cut him some slack). This album just capture the fun of being an angry teenage ska-punker. The songs are just so mean or agressive, Abnormality, The One The Girl Sings On, The Guy From Subways, all mean, neagative songs. There's hooks and some melody, but you wont catch them under jeff's ugliest singing of his career. over-all this is fun immature unprofessional punky ska. not for the casual fan of ska or jeff. |
