| AgainAnd The Dan Patlansky track was rather sweet. Pointers as to where to go to next, with regards to his music?

| thinbrownduke Fair enough! And YES I frickin' love the Dan. Although my favourite of their albums is 'Thrill', which many would disagree with. What about you? I recently purchased Fagen's 'The Nightfly', and have been loving the hell out of that record. For a CD made over a decade before my birth, the sound/recording quality is ASTOUNDING. And I'm in love with Side 2 in particular.

| AgainAnd Eh, on the global scale Finland has the most to offer in terms of metal (as is the case with the Scandinavian states in general). Otherwise it has normal, passable pop, and a good rock artist here and there. So not too much after all, I guess. That certainly showed when I was at the Danish Roskilde festival this summer, where Finland was the least represented of the Nordic countries.

| thinbrownduke Fair enough - vocalists can really put you off a band! And it can get repetitive, I agree, although the album is too short to really grow too stultifying. 'Schoolboy anger' is apposite, although he is singing about things loads of British teens feel on an almost daily basis; and he is incredibly articulate and genuinely passionate! Still, I respect your opinion. Thanks for responding!

| thinbrownduke Hiya! May I ask, out of curiosity, why you didn't like the Arctic Monkeys debut much? I usually am not a fan of much new music, sticking mainly to the 1960s-'70s, but I'm of the opinion that 'Whatever People...' is one of the greatest albums of the century so far. Just wondering! :) x
