4.0 excellent | DustinArlt | January 10th 12 | I'm not a fan of remixes. I would prefer brand new material. However, Klayton never ceases to impress me. He's trying new things, and he's succeeding

3.5 great | Acanthus | December 17th 11 | This is what I always wanted from Mr. Klayton - hard tracks, hard vocals, and great execution to back it all up.

0.0 | bloc | December 17th 11 | Sure, it's simple to just say Klayton's remixes on The Complete Cellout Vol. 1 are enjoyable. However, any listener who's been following the man since his early days, or even a casual listener (I mean, who hasn't heard Switchback yet?), will note that the change in his musical styles are nearly parallel to what's popular in clubs and other electronic music sources. The important thing to note is Klayton's ability to still stay in that industrial rock niche, helping older listeners to still enjoy his new material yet bring on new listeners as well. But even if you still can't dig any of Klayton's newer material, you can at least respect the man's musical ability to change with the time.
