I find it absolutely hilarious that John and Paul were so self absorbed and such egomaniacs that they didn't even realize just how better of a song writer George Harrison is than they were.

Horribly underrated masterpiece. I can sit down for two hours and listen to this whole album, no questions asked. Personally, I even love the fifth and six sides that contain only some jam sessions, even though they're almost universally hated by everyone else. Ranked as my favourite George Harrison album, favourite album of 1970, favourite album of the 1970s, and favourite album of all time.

I knew a couple of songs before diving into this album, mainly "My sweet Lord" wich is one of ma favorite song of all time. I had high expectation beforehand and was not disappointed , and i could see myself loving even more this album, maybe even becoming of my favorite if it grows on me. The album represent so well the mellow rocks that i enjoy so much, its even made by one of the guy from the Beattles. I could even say that this album is probably the best thing coming out of the post-Beatles. Its not perfect , the middle part is kindda long and is a bit overwhelming. But, it gets better, the end of the album is literally just solo/improvisation got 25 minutes straight and i cant complain. Anyway, instant classic album for me 4,7/5

A shining album with a prevailing feeling of melancholy. The sound of a man unleashed. All Things Must Pass, Run Of The Mill, Awaiting On You All, If Not For You, Behind That Locked Door and My Sweet Lord are top tier songs.

This stands as probably the best Beatles solo album, from the band's secret weapon. I'm only acknowledging the first 18 tracks, as the rest are bonus jam session type tracks. This album showcases George's underrated songwriting skills. At it's best, the album is like listening to a beautiful painting, at it's worst, song of the songs are very slow moving and boring. There is a alot of music to digest on here, but it's very rewarding even if it's not on part with The Beatles releases. Great slide guitar by George, and a couple songs got some nice thump to them. Best tracks are Isn't it a Pity, What is Life, Let it Down, Awaiting on You All, Art of Dying and the surprising Ballad of Frankie Crisp.
