Quite sad to see one of the pioneers of brutality make the most generic thrash album in existance. Super boring, riffs stale as could be. Ends off with two short punk tracks. Only positives are stellar drumming and production. Musically? Totally uninteresting.

Stylistically I would put it somewhere between Diabolus in Musica and Demanufacture. Depending on your taste you can see this as good or bad. There is a certain groove metal sound to some of the songs here, simultaneously an industrial-esque sound. Not bad imo, but maybe not what some people want from a Kreator album?

Cause For Conflict sees Kreator moving back to harder edged material from the polarizing Renewal, but they still show their inability to put "soul" and character into the bland material here.

Kreator doing industrial that doesnt actually suck and has a couple of thrashy moments that really are great. Sadly this pales in comparison to everything from their early and later parts of their discography and only shines against their 90s material

Not a good outing for Kreator whatever way you slice it. Boring, bland music and a vocal performance that sucks dick. Its got some good moments, the first 2 songs rule but for the most part this is industrial bollocks that shouldnt be touched-even Mille tries to sound like the dude from fear Factory on here.
