| Arcade i've been trying to write some reviews lately- Neon Indian, Majical Cloudz, Joanna Newsom- but i've got a s***load of uni work atm and i'm trying to make up for my less than stellar marks last semester. if nothing pops up for any of those albums soon-ish i'll have reviews up for them but idk. i do plan on at least writing something for Bieber's new album when that drops

 | Anthracks So far it's my album of the year. Biggest surprise of this year, easily. Never been too fond of his stuff.

| evilford yeah it's cool....as far as metal goes, I would start with bands who have good s*** that also have progressive leanings, those seem to be effective gateways. metal in general and/or progressive metal - opeth, meshuggah, tool; death metal - death, gorguts; thrash metal - coroner, voivod; sludge metal - neurosis, ISIS...that's about all the genres I know enough about to give effective gateway recs : / hope you enjoy

| klap i just started getting into them, that girl is the one who told me them. i love the EPs - still need to grab the album. "Medicine" is amazing

| klap hahaha yeah the girl i'm seeing actually handled distribution for that record so i got to check it out before it dropped. hilarious stuff. i really want the deluxe vinyl it looks so cool but they had to re-order them bc the first pressings were all warped or something

| Jots actually, only a handful of songs are well over 3 minutes, but still. just doesn't vibe with me :s

| Jots One of my biggest things is the song lengths. you have these bouncy, catchy songs that could end on a high note at 3 minutes... but they don't. it's like they don't know how to quit while they're ahead, and it gets tiresome. I also don't like Brock's voice on this album either. not a bad album, but I could take it or leave it

 | DaveyBoy No problems at all. I cant disagree with anything you state, although there is something rather, ummm, charming about him. Id probably go back further than early 80s. And yet, its tricky thinking of similar artists, especially current day ones.
