Tomorrow I leave for a bowling tournament in LA which I'm playing in, school starts back up in less than two weeks, I go camping with my fam the the second weekend after school starts, and then the next weekend I have a bowling tournament with my dad in Reno. I'm excited but kind of nervous because what am I gonna do in the hotel room with my parents??

| Davil667 I'd probably recommend Blackwater Park or Still Life next, they are both very strong records and relatively easy to get into. Then I'd go to My Arms Your Hearse, the darkest and imo best Opeth album. The atmosphere is so haunting and beautiful all the same. Ah, such a damn solid discography, enjoy bro!

| onionbubs I love them yeah. one of my all time favorite bands easy. infirmary rules yeah. my personal favorite is maybe ill catch fire but i dig pretty much everything theyve done to different degrees (addiction is the closest thing they have to a bad album but even then its still got its fair share of good to great tracks)

| onionbubs I actually haven't been to a lot of shows yet. First concert was last june ish and the only other one was seeing thursday back in like december (if you ever get the chance make sure you go to that show theyre incredible live). I assume in coming years that number will probably increase

 | Sinternet totally dude i've always been very social like that, i think it's probably a natural reaction to it (albeit a positive one) because evryone i know with the same issues is similar. yeah drink will destroy you in this case, it's a huge depressant, whereas the hormones released through physical activity like adrenaline are the opposite. hope everything goes well for you, feel free to shoutbox me whenever you want

| Sinternet also because anxiety often leads to a lack of motivation which is absolutely awful and something i'm still working on, i would really recommend keeping fit and exercising a lot, it has a great effect on your personal outlook and confidence and is definitely the best way to support yourself in my experience, wish you luck.

| Sinternet for example, i've always been fine with people approaching me about something, but i hate approaching other people as i've always felt like i am an inconvenience and it was best if i just ignored something. considering i want to be a journalist, this needed to change so i've made it a goal of mine to be more proactive andto be more pushy (in a good way) and it's really helped my confidence, also posting here a lot has helped because i'm actively talking to people/establishing rapport etc.

| Sinternet yeah i've had my fair share of anxiety problems, always have done and you never truly conquer it tbh, but i'm probably in the best place i've ever been in mentally. it's kind of a hard thing to really pin down on how to get better because everyone is different, but how i've improved a lot is just forcing myself into these uncomfortable situations so i can get used to it, so i'd really suggest that, but make sure you do it at a pace which you are ok with.
