Review Summary: this album has everything a true incubus, and for the that matter true rock, fan should look for when crediting a band for the right reasons. vastly underrated, this album belongs next to Science and morning view as their best albums

First and foremost this is Incubus's most underrated album. As we all know and have come to love about Incubus, they change/progress from album to album. People often want a band like incubus to remain as they were when they first started. Heavy riffed mania music. What people fail to understand is that, if they were to mold to what people want to repeatably hear, they would have been long gone after morning view. 20 years later they still make the music they want to. and are very successful without all the fame and glory fellow bands like, foo fighters and red hot chili peppers have no doubt-ably earned.

As for A crow left of the murder.

This album as a whole brings you through every style of music they have dabbled into. Hard riffed/heavy based songs like sick sad little world, zee deevel and priceless have a hint of Fungus/Science's sounds. While the song megalomaniac's political theme and guitar riffs that only Mikey E. can rock reminded me of a Make Yourself/Morning View mood, musically and lyrically.

Then songs like here in my room and talk shows on mute show there softer side as is displayed multiple times in bother Make yourself and Morning view.

Brandon's lyrics in Leech, the final song on the album, show an emotion that brings personal issues that clearly upset him out in the open.

Then there's and new sound in songs like a crow left of the murder and pistola. Which goes to show you, that this album alone, features songs that have hints of what had made Incubus the commercial success they are today. Along with yet another new demension they somehow dipped their creative brains into yet again.

This album has music/lyrics and tempos similar to that of all there previous material. JUST when you think Incubus can't throw anymore curveballs at you "BaaM". Another under appreciated musical masterpiece goes under the radar. Rock'nRoll is fading away for many reasons. Solid band/albums like this being shoved to the side for chritina agulara and company is a major reason Rolling Stones top 50 albums of 2012 only had three rock bands noted. Foo f.s, RHCP's and Incubus. All atleast 15 years and going strong, but not part of 20 years down the road. We should all take a step back and thing about charishing bands like incubus. Without them a select few others, rock'n'roll would have no chance to come back to a dominating place.

Since this album is a great overview of Incubus as awhole. I give it a 4/5 "excellent" rating

P.S. In my opinion, there only a hand full of 5/5 albums made in the last 15 years.

You have writing potential, but your grammar mistakes and inconsistencies make your review really hard to read. Get your reviews proofread by a friend next time, and you'll be better off.

You have some okay points but this review is incredibly disorganised and your grammar is terrible. That last bit about rock'n'roll dying and Rolling fucking Stone's top 50 is completely unnecessary too.

I won't neg because it's your first, but I suggest you take a lot more care next time. Keep at it.
