Review Summary: You know what to expect from BMTH, Screaming, Breakdowns, and Dark lyrics. And this is what they do best so why change?

Bring Me The Horizon is one of those bands that you will either despise for what seems to be Oliver's' love for screaming at the same tone or you can love them for that reason. My friend showed me this band one day while we were just hanging out and I have to be honest, I hated this band for a while but that was only because their songs didn't stand out from one another. I couldn't tolerate the fact that their vocals seem to never change in tone except for the occasional deep growl in certain sections of the song.
This only drove my friend to try and make me love the band even more then before. And being the friend he is, he bought me this album and made me sit down with the handbook and read the lyrics as the songs played, and that was when i started to tolerate them. The when I got my hands on Suicide Seasons only then I became a fan of this group.

Surprisingly this album doesn't sound just like Suicide Seasons, it seems to bring more mature sound that we haven't heard a lot of from this band. All of the songs have the lyrics of a typical Bring Me The Horizon song, graphic descriptions of death and violence and some moments where they actually seem like things are settling but only to be brought back to the chaos that ensues in the songs. Crucify Me is the song that shows almost everything that this group of crazies can bring to the listener. Although it did feel as if this band used the same choppy guitar riff in half of this whole album. Anthem, It Never Ends, and Home Sweet Hole all seem sound like they both have the same beginning just in a different pace, but that surely doesn't change that fact that these songs are different from each other in sound and meaning.
The album has a more mature feeling then the previous albums, there are less songs about partying and pissing on girls and more mature sounding lyrics, which is a shock because of this band reputation for having concerts from hell and that the vocalist Oliver Sykes being the definition of a party animal.

Despite what this band is known for, they have managed to pull of a decent album that is an improvement from their previous album. All f the songs here are solid and they feel as if they put alot of time into every single track. Also this album brings more attention with the singer Lights being featured in the songs Crucify Me and Don't Go, her voice helps bring what would be a typical song and makes it stand out from the rest.

This band has been the one of the more noticed bands in Metal Core and this album will help them stay that, nothing has really changed in their style of how they play songs especially the screams from Sykes which sounds like is degrading from his previous album, not sure if this was on purpose but it still sounds incredible with the songs. This band is maturing to an extent but they are still keeping their style of feeling like your on a roller coaster in hell as you listen to the album. When you listen to this album for the first time, I can guarantee that you'll have enough adrenaline to destroy your neighborhood.

Firstly, I'm not so keen on the narrative about how you and your friend are bezzies.

Secondly, please stop wittering on about the band maturing. You said once and it didn't need to be repeated.

Yeah sadness is pretty cool. I like The Comedown the most though. It's super catchy.
