Review Summary: An absolute classic to the death metal world

Carcass is a very good death metal band. Toghether, over the journey of just a few LP's, they have influenced Death Metal and even melodeth, with their well-crafted songs. Necroticism is no different either. This album has insane production. You can hear just about everything without having to resort back on the song. The guitars are incredible and are amazingly placed, and have wicked technality.

With just 8 tracks, Necroticism crafts up their best LP to date. Centered around the themes of killings, like dogs, animals, and even other animals, those themes are placed in the songs. I've listened to this album 40 times I bet, and still I have yet to find anything wrong with it. The riffs and drum patterns are dynamic and varied. In other words, you won't find anything sounding similar to the next.

The vocals are a little different from standard gutteral vocals. I mean, this album contains some, but in the whole, the vocals are screechy compared to standard death metal bands. There's the gutteral placements here too, but the screeching is more prominent.

In conclusion, this album played an enourmous role in death metal and is set foot to be as of today. It's a hard-worked and dynamic effort by Carcass. And this is an album you need to all the death metal fans out there.
