Honestly, this could be considered High Visceral III! The singles are definitely the "heaviest" tracks here. After "Weird World Awoke" come the softer cuts (aside from Incubator), which will hit for fans of the High Viscerals and Whatchamacallit. "Qwik Maff" was a pleasant mathy surprise and the intro and outro on "Out the Universe Pours" is something to behold! Closer, "Concrete & Cola", sounds as sweet as cotton candy on a beautiful day at the fair. Carpe Diem, Moonman isn't my favorite PPC album by far; I actually enjoyed Fronzoli more in comparison. But if you're already a fan of the band, it's still an enjoyable time with a few curve bal | 3.5

Finally broke down and listened to the latest Squid album. I was reluctant on listening due to the trajectory that the band seemed to be heading after O' Monolith. I loved their earlier fun and energetic cuts, especially from Town Centre and BGF, but my least favorite vibes are now what they solely focus on. Droning on and on and on and, sadly, putting me to sleep. | 2.5
