Pusha T DAYTONA
Everything is really fresh and exciting for 1. Push to rap over and 2. For Kanye to produce. The
first two tracks melted my mind and Hard Piano lost me a little with the chorus and Ross. Come
Back Baby and Santeria are stellar and while Push holds it together WWMD is lost with Kanye's
rapping a bit. Infrared lets Push shine with a beautiful haunting beat slowly building behind him.
This record grabbed my attention and made me listen. I'd recommend it to anyone that still enjoys
meaningful production and lyricism in their rap music.

Canadian Softball Awkward and Depressed
It's all made me chuckle, and some of the tracks (Average Joe, Great Again, Pink Wednesday) feel like parody as much as genuine pop-punk, which is nice, but all together it just feels like too much. It is done well, performed well yet not so cohesive in sound as it is parody, which may be okay for some. But the humor does not disguise the fact that it feels all over the place; even if it's trying to make fun of every facet of pop-punk it still feels like there is no centric nature to the record. Which bugs me. May not bug others. Idk, fuck it. I like it.

Brand New Science Fiction
Brand New evade the hype train by releasing a record out of nowhere, which was a good play. The record is fine, engrossing and emotive as per usual yet lacks the energy of early records that made us fall in love with our beloved Brand New. They played their hand correctly if this is their last record, and honestly I love it, just not amazed.

Nothing touches Salt, which is beyond phenomenal in many respects, but it all comes together nicely.
