Great EP, I love how chaotic and dissonant the first song is!

Really glad to hear, the debut album has been in the works for almost 4 years, and it's essentially my life's work. Putting everything into this thing, so i hope people dig it

Finally had a chance to give this a spin, and enjoyed the experience overall.

The first track is very chaotic and I dig the atmospheric horror aesthetic of it. It feels very through composed and seems like a bit of a collection of random ideas but the horror element is persistent throughout. Tulpa is the best song on here, as it blends the chaos with more of a reoccurring motif. It's creative and engaging. Like Water Across the Skin is a very nice textured atmospheric piece. You could have dropped the ball putting this on the end, but it works really well in the context of the full listen. Overall, this EP works really well, and the atmosphere you've created is commendable.

I'd drop all of this from your post "The EP is a mash-up of Cryptopsy-inspired death metal with black metal textures and prog-inspired songwriting." You don't need to genre-splain your music, and honestly I'm not hearing much Cryptopsy or death metal in this at all. Not sure what value it adds other than a distraction to this hauntingly quirky EP you've created.

Looking forward to what you put out next. I think there is room to tighten some things up in the performance and songwriting department, but you have a lot going on atmospherically that I would definitely stick with and explore more.

Happy to hear you enjoyed this, these recordings / mixes are all between 1-2 years old. So you can definitely expect the album to be a lot tighter i think

As far as the genre is concerned, i don't know how to classify this, it's just a mix of everything i like so it's difficult to label. Especially since it all started with no aggressive / metal elements at all and was entirely clean vocals, so it's been constantly shifting

Thank you for your thoughts and critiques!
