D.H. Peligro, long time drummer for Dead Kennedys died on October 28th. He was 63 years old. He was also a brief member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1988 and introduced John Frusciante to Flea and Anthony Kiedis.

According to the band's post on Instagram: “Dead Kennedys’ drummer D.H. Peligro (Darren Henley) passed away in his Los Angeles home yesterday, October 28th. Police on the scene stated that he died from trauma to the head caused by an accidental fall. Arrangements are pending and will be announced in the coming days. We ask that you respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your thoughts and words of comfort.”

Yep, they really made a difference. Growing up in a very far-right household, it's bands like DK, Propagandhi, Rise Against and Refused that made me question what I was taught.

I discovered Rammstein with Sehnsucht.
It was a burnt CD coming from the friend of the brother of a friend.
The CD had "Nazi Punk Fuck Off" written on it.
These morons really thought Rammstein was a nazi band because, dear lord, they sung in german.

I only understood the role of this song because a band plays it in the (poor) movie Green Room in order to tell to their nazi spectators to leave the place.

And damn I loved Green Room... Highly recommend checking out the directors revenge flick Blue Ruin. One of the best revenge movies ever made and extremely bleak. And his earlier flick Murder Party is one of the greatest horror comedies ever made.
Sorry for the off topic post. Much respect to this man
