It’s boring. Nothing memorable. Just all the elements of lamb of god as we’ve heard them countless times before. The last single was better.

Another 'Redneck' style single. Even though this is absolutely nothing different, if anything probably even more simplified I liked the power behind this track.
I have enjoyed this more than the last single and anything off the last album or two.

I cuss for sure but am I the only one that gets annoyed when vocalists yell phrases like “fuck it all!” in their lyrics? Seems lazy. One of marks against this track for me.

verses were fine but that chorus is the very definition of copy and paste that we've heard a million times.

Lamb of God never fails... to disappoint. I guess when you release an album as amazing as AotW it's gonna be quite the challenge to ever top it.

The chorus is Kreator level of predictable, dull and repetitive. I like the verses and breakdowns though.

the drums being so basic now takes so much away from this band, it really highlights how uninteresting the guitar tone is.

@zaruyache agreed. Its like this new guy is afraid to be creative. They should have called it quits when Adler left

that part at 2:46 is kinda nice but it sounds like they are purposely restraining the song's tempo for the most part

Wrath was where my interest for these guys died. Still dig the early material although I don't really return to it these days. Burn the Priest album is still the shit though imo. Gave this single a shot but as many have said it's pretty damn bland. Agreed on drumming lacking especially

Really missing Chris right now. Wonder what this guy signed on the contract? Thou shall not put energy or individuality into any new music.

"@keaton_86 right about what?"

"I think he left the band because they didnt want to do anything different with their music"

Basically this. He said something about how he was artistically bored with doing the same thing, and the band didn't want to change, so he left. I'm paraphrasing, but it was something to that effect.

actually just found his facebook post, here you go:

I feel it is time to address the many questions being asked about my departure from Lamb Of God.

Allow me to start with a relative concept of understanding. We all gave our lives to this, 26 years is not flippant. Each one of us sacrificed and lost much on a personal level to live the dream we had when we were kids. I will always love each member of the band for believing in me and agreeing to take on the world. We managed to find some love in the machine, but in turn it took things that cannot be recovered. I did not leave the dream. I did not make the decision to leave my life’s work. The truth is that I am unwilling to paint by numbers. I wish my brothers all the best in their continued ventures. I can assure you that you will hear from me again. I was given a gift and hope to continue to share it.

Many have asked about a motorbike accident I had in Thailand in 2017. It’s true that it was not pretty, but I’ve been well since August of 2018. Thank you for your concerns.

I support my friends and the dream I allowed them to share in. I loved and am still humbled by every second of the smiles and horns we elicited. There is an ambiguous concept in our world of “selling out”. I cannot define that outside of my personal understanding, but know that being trapped in a "creative" formula and/or playing the same song 10,000 times did not bolster my love of playing. I’m never been one to “phone it in.” I’d rather mow the grass.

I acknowledge and am truly grateful of achieving my childhood dream.
I have 2 GRAMMYS that sit on my mothers mantle piece. I think she deserves 3 so this party isn't over.
I was not given a choice in this and my dream is alive.

Feel free to say hello if you see me mowing the grass. It never gets old.
I appreciate each and every one of you!

Thank you!
Chris

Can’t put in words the beauty of it! Perfect song, Randy’s vocals still surprising and amazing me after all these years, the lyrics are a punch in the stomach, and the photography of the video is a wow! So proud to say Lamb Of God is one of my fav bands of all times ❤️‍🔥

Shout out to Chris Adler for not just sticking around and making the same song repeatedly as he says. Always enjoyed dudes drumming and I'll have to see if he's been doing anything since his departure
