|

Collaborating with The 1975?
...'s saxophonist?
Well, that's certainly intriguing.
|
| |
The features have me intrigued. Excited to hear this after their last album, not too long to wait till it drops either.

So from another video on their twitter, basically they realise how much hype I Let It In... created and (i'm assuming this part) since they couldn't capitalise with tours and live shows they wan't to expand the existence of that album. So similar album art-work and similar feel on this one.
|
| |
super hyped for this. cant wait
|
| |
wow stoked

semi JK they're pretty good though
|

loathe is pretty good stuff. heavy hitters, vibing atmospheric tunes. maybe not reinventing the wheel but great band
|
| |
already?
Loved the last two albums though, holding hope this is decent
|
| |
great news
|
| |
Very excited for this. Loved the last one

"someone sum up this band in one sentence ten words or less for me, please"
djenttones
|

Yeah I dunno if they're reinventing the wheel, but for what they do, they do it damn well. I personally enjoy the distinct sound of their tracks; "I let it in and it took everything" had such a variety of sound going on.
|
| |
Really hope they aren't just cranking something out to ride the momentum from their last album. If so, could be a steaming pile. Last album had some very strong moments tho. Here's hoping.
|
| |
chino feature when
|
| |
@Darius Loathe is a heavier deftones that listened to Korn and Slipknot as kids and decided to make a band
|
| |
@Darius also, I highly suggest the song "Two Way Mirror".. it slaps

"An

?????
they're nowhere near Code Orange in self-seriousness. they're actually pretty down to earth guys
|
| |
"djenttones"
sounds like a hard pass...
|
| |
djent is cool when there's actual effort in the songwriting
|
| |
agreed. unfortunate that's not more common
|
| |
Last album was super disjointed for me. I dig their blend of sounds but hopefully they refine it a bit. Also hoping for more heavy
|
| |
More tracks like Gored please. Damn that’s a banger.
|
| |
Y’all really don’t know what djent is
|
| |
djent is never cool but this band has zero djent in them anyway
|
| |
Pretty sure this isn't a new album. I think it's a "Reimagined" version of I Let It In, a la Contortionist.
|
| |
now that could he interesting
|
| |
More tracks like Gored please [2]
|
| |
gored is a mega slapper
|
| |
This band legit does nothing for me but the sput modern metalcore crew seemed to really like them
|
| |
It looks like I was wrong. Their new video just dropped with a new tracklist.
Fuckin' really excited now at what these things could be.
