Digging: Shotgun Messiah - Second Coming
this is way more tolerable compared to his last few singles with the obnoxious rapping
basic piano ballad is basic.
I cant quite tell what exactly it is, but whatever slight effects are on his voice were incredibly unnecessary and realllllllly ruin any potential enjoyment I could have gotten out of this.
Digging: Death - Spiritual Healing
That was very mediocre lol
Digging: Lost For Life - We All Share The Blame
Lmao the music video. This fuckin 2005 or what
Digging: Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Dazzle Ships
i am ashamed of myself for finding bits of this slightly enjoyable
Lucky dude gets to make shitty music and then gets to go home and bang Paige
Bruh she looks terrible now
man the original was so good why the fuck you gotta make this asscheeks ass shit
Well, it's less awful than the original.
Digging: Loathe (UK) - I Let It In And It Took Everything
omg lemme make shitty gangasta screamo rap then show how deep i am with a piano track recorded off a fisher-price keyboard
This is so fucking cringey
It sounds like he is channeling Taylor Swift and songs from the hit Disney movie Frozen
this version is better than the original.
Yeah, i said it.
No it's not lol this is just a poorly done piano rendition, he doesn't know how to translate the vocals into a softer arrangement
sitting in this room playing russian roulette
Digging: Bone Awl - An Obelisk Marks the Line
finger on the trigger to my dear juliet
Out from the window see your back drop silloutte (or something like that)
Raised by the Wolves is still the only thing worth a damn this band has done.
That song slaps hard, I still dig most tracks from the debut
Don't mess with ouiiiiiiijaaaaaaaa boooooooards
Raised by Wolves is their best song now and I remember listening to it when it dropped being sooooooo excited
the original has aged well idk
it’s just a nasally voice and basic metalcore chords, shit hasn’t changed
From what I understand, the vocalist is a decent pianist - so I can buy the gimmick of him singing behind a piano for the video. As for the actual 'rearrangement'? It's certainly a cool idea, but the production on this is what actually hurts most. The pitch correction is so obvious/accurate that it detracts from any raw emotion that could've been presented had they not gone that route. Truthfully, it would've been better to record the song raw to evoke a more 'natural' feel. And reading the comments...yeah, "Raised By Wolves" still slaps to this day (along with "Born to Lead")
