Oh wow, this is really cool. I’ve enjoyed pretty much everything these guys have put out and this is no exception.
|
| |
oh cool theyre finally starting to do something that doesnt stick so strictly to their formula
songs dece better than all of the last album and a lot more ambitious then theyve been in a while so im intrigued
|
| |
Great band, nice to see them release something fresh and exciting.
|
| |
I always love their smart guitar work
|

Interesting song. Definitely different.
Though I don't know if it's right to call Billy Talent punk anymore.
|
| |
Love it.
|
| |
Fucking FINALLY this band is doing something new. Got so sick of them treading water for 4 albums in a row.
|
| |
These guys are a Canadian treasure and the soundtrack to a lot of my growing up. But by the time the last album came, I listened to 1 single and never touched it again TBH I forgot it existed.
Dead Silence had a few bangers, but BT I, II, and III are all favorites of mine. God I must have a few hundred listens of each fully. Grew out of them a bit since then but I'm excited to check this out later and hopefully it doesn't disappoint. I'll always have a soft spot for them regardless.
|
| |
Not bad.
|
| |
This is actually great
|
| |
interesting choice to use german lyrics there.
maybe because they are very popular here, no idea for sure though...
definitely a very cool song, hard dig on this one
|
| |
man this is incredible, love the sax on here, the experimentation with song structure and mood is admirable in general.
|
| |
YES
*listens*
YESSS
|
| |
Funny how signature their sound has gotten just by the guitar playing alone. That dude has a great ear for riffs
|
| |
holy fuck 2019 is one of the best years for music we've had in ages
|
| |
Very proggish, definitely unexpected. That outro is an entire song in and of itself
|
| |
It keeps getting even better on subsequent listens.
Ultra hype for the new album now
|
| |
Hahaha what is going on this is so good.
|
| |
That was one of the best songs they've ever recorded. These guys are aging very well. Love this new sound.
|
| |
agreed
|
| |
Billy Talent are always great, even when they're not
|
| |
WTF are they a prog band now?
|
| |
Billy Talent are always great, even when they're not [2]
|
| |
Thinking about it they did cover Rush's A Passage To Bangkok for the big edition of 2112. Somebody in the band loves Pink Floyd too if I'm not mistaken.
|
| |
BT I & II were great albums and this is a pleasant surprise
|
| |
Great band, great song
|
| |
ian d’sa is insanely underrated
guy is a riff machine and has a solid voice
always wanted him to do a post hardcore side project
|
| |
Love the guitar work on I and II is also nice
|
| |
"always wanted him to do a post hardcore side project"
This would be sick
|
| |
This song is awesome. Hope the rest of the album is this dense
|
| |
Can't believe how positive this comment section is. Normally there'd be a bunch of "shit band who cares comments"
I heard this on the radio and was like wtf, this can't be billy talent, really promising
|
| |
its bc this band fucks
|
| |
Song is good goddamn
|
| |
fuck i can't stop listening
how is this so gooood
|
| |
kills
|
| |
well alright then, totally not what I would have imagined was coming
|
| |
Album please
|
| |
Just figured these guys released pt III like months ago since they presented a video to go along with only yesterday
I don't think it's that impressive, though.
