Pretty different song titles for them
Link should be changed to a Peaceville weblink, because that's the official announcement...
Otherwise, sick news. I've already preordered!
Digging: Criptadel - The Inverted Tower
Cover looks little too much like their mid-late era stuff for comfort, but they've been on a pretty good run their last three albums. Sure wish they're return to harder edged black metal though.
Love the album art.
Digging: Parkcrest - ...And That Blue Will Turn To Red
Fenriz said that Ted's songs "have alot of black metal in them", so maybe this one will have some "edge".
Digging: 070 Shake - Modus Vivendi
Fixed with the link to the Peaceville official announcement. Was getting aggravated at the time because the only official news release I was finding was a post on their Facebook page.
Digging: Godflesh - Godflesh
Digging: Brothers Of Metal - Emblas Saga
i may be in the minority here, but after all the crust and speed metal worship, i am kinda hoping for a slight return to BM territory.
You had me at "darkthrone"... ;-)
Stoked! Nice artwork, agreed.
"alp man" someones finally making a song about otzi!!!!
Digging: Lunar Vacation - The Lunar Vacation EPs
damn that is some kickass artwork
Ahahaha DT goes Ötzi
fenriz also said he'd been getting into Candlemass riffs I think, so we might get some 80s doom stuff
The word ''doom'' was used a lot in the description he gave of the new album, yeah.
LOOOOONELY AND FOOORLOOOONE I AAAM CRYYYIIIIIIIIIIIIN
"The songs are more metal than ever! Ted’s songs have alot of black metal in them, faster and slower but also doomier parts and reocurring parts. My songs are more linear written, it’s an ancient 80s underground trick, with breaks, all slow heavy or slow thrash, classic doom or slow death."
So in all that's: metal, black metal, slow heavy, slow thrash, classic doom and slow death
Alrighty then. I'm in.
Can't wait for this
Digging: Count Shirintsu - Spirit of the Earth
fuck yeah Darkthrone
2019 Darkthrone hell yes
Digging: Alexandra Savior - The Archer
Imma just wait here
should be solid.
this will be their 18th full-length? what the fuck
Wow yeah. That's a little insane.
Awesome artwork and it's strange that they'r eon Peaceville, though they have been for a long time I guess. I just always thought of that label as more of a My Dying Bride (doom metal) label.
Well, Cradle was on Peaceville for the longest time too. It's a bigger label than we think maybe.
They've been on Peaceville for almost their entire career, why would it seem weird now
Based AF. Looking forward to this.
wooo. Think i'll jam Arctic Thunder today, then.
" The Key Is Inside The Wall"
I'm just glad it's not behind the eye *shudders*
Digging: Mike Patton and Jean-Claude Vannier - Corpse Flower
Love the album art.
The album art is so good
probably just going to be a 3.5, but the hype is real.
is "Alp Man" a tribute to the late Ueli Steck?
