deep if true, and flies in the face of this unity they portray in their band image. did you just make the link off that or are there other rumours? only mentions his leg in the wiki, and if you have a drummer who can't kick a bass drum you have two others as backup lol. i guess it would affect his movement in general anyway, his balance and shit

Jordison was having serious back problems running up to the time he departed slipknot, to the point where he had to be assisted onto the stage. The band mutually decided that it was best for his health if he didn't take part in the band any more.
Makes me think Fehn is just being a money-grabbing bitch.

A7X makes Slipknot sound like The Doors. That band is rubbish.

Well they'll probably hire a replacement to do Fehn's percussion and backing vocals (that's right he did actually contribute vocals live), but they really don't need to.

Regarding Jordison, I remember reading that when he was ill, he didn't really disclose it and the other members of Slipknot thought he was abusing drugs, and that was why he couldn't walk. But I guess it's unlikely we'll ever know the true reasons. Jordison's doing alright with Sinsaenum though (but no idea what's happening with VIMIC. Maybe he'll recruit Fehn on bass).

regarding Joey's firing, he's talked at length about his side of the story. He got completely and utterly fucked over, and since no-one in the band to my knowledge has come out and refuted much less acknowledged his comments, I completely believe him. Slipknot hasn't been a band in a long time, they're a business and a brand and they haven't made anything worth listening to in over a decade. I wish they'd just break up and go on to do other projects rather than having to watch them slowly implode while at each others throats, but ok.
