yep, it rules

| |
Craziest track of 2019 so far, had to be Devy.
| |
Song is amazing, video is crazy. Jup, definitely Devy.
| |
Dev reaction channel when?
| |
he has gone full autistic experimentation and i love it
| |
best shit he's dropped since Casualties, so good
| |
Slaps.
| |
he basically just put everything he’s done previously in one song... and it’s amazing
| |
Can't get into his music, but love the guy as a human
| |
Not good
| |
Pretty good.
| |
What a video, what a song, what a man.
| |
Batshit crazy. And I love it!
| |
I love Devin, but I didn't really like this.
| |
"Can't get into his music, but love the guy as a human"
And I love this wholesome response (:
Jammed 5 times on the way to work this morning, gets better every time
| |
"Jammed 5 times on the way to work this morning, gets better every time"
Dude, I meant to listen to this then get down to listening to the new Dream Theater joint, but I've listened to this three times in a row and haven't yet started on the other DT. :D
| |
Cool video, the song is also nice
| |
"Dude, I meant to listen to this then get down to listening to the new Dream Theater joint, but I've listened to this three times in a row and haven't yet started on the other DT. :D"
Haha think you did it in the wrong order my man, this is too addictive. Though Devy just tweeted that you shouldn't over-listen to it on its own and wait for the full album!
| |
I listened once and will now wait as was my plan all along
| |
The most unplayable live song.
| |
Yeah this gets better with every listen.
This album is gonna be such a trip.
| |
A huge grower, and this is just the overture.
| |
Chuu-chuu, all aboard the hype train!
| |
The most unplayable live song [2]
I love this dude, and I really like some of the stuff he’s done over the years, and I get this is just fun and not to be taken seriously but it’s a little bit too all over the place for me.
| |
One of the most spastic songs he's done, and that's saying something.
| |
Hell yeah. I'm stoked to listen to this.
| |
"Though Devy just tweeted that you shouldn't over-listen to it on its own and wait for the full album!"
Well, fuck. Too late for that innit?
| |
I'm gonna listen once more with the vid as I haven't seen it yet, then will try and hold off until the full release
| |
As an overture it could definitely work depending on the rest of the album, it's a little too spastic for me though and never really allows any particular moment to get going enough for it to be enjoyable.
| |
While we all have lots of bands that influence still, we all rip off BTBAMMM!!!!
| |
Not a good listen
| |
A great listen
| |
wow
| |
A great listen [2]
| |
liked this more on 2nd listen
| |
this fucking HITS
| |
yeah this just gets better with every listen
| |
Idk I've seen Devin pull off a lot of songs live in person that I never would have expected to be possible so we'll see. Song slaps.
| |
damn fine song
| |
Preordered and feelin the 🔥 🔥
| |
Devy always plays with a zillion backing tracks. Pulling something off live is never his concern.
| |
Loving this
| |
Great song, great video
| |
yeah i'm not feeling this
| |
What a lovely fella :]
Whole vid is great.
| |
as much as I like Devin, but this seems way to overloaded for me, a little less would have been nicer here.
| |
Interesting how divisive this is.
| |
Terrible/fun song.
| |
disjointed but kinda fun at the same time
| |
RustCohle, Dev's the first to admit that about this song. Give the rest of the album a try, this is essentially a 6-minute mess of a summary.
| |
Hocus pocus, this song has no focus
| |
I don't get it.
| |
It's not bad, but I really miss the times where Devin knew how to be down to earth with his music as well, and not just all-out bombastic all the time.
Song sounds like he took 10 tracks, cut them to pieces and put them all together into one giant Frankenstein creation. It's definitely creative, but not an enjoyable listening experience per se. Might grow on me, who knows.
| |
it's literally the overture for the album and encompasses like every style portrayed by all the other songs.
| |
So there's a song that's just meowing cats? I'm not sure how I feel about that...
| |
not every style like every style NUANCE.
| |
It is an overture, but also bear in mind that Devin kinda shook some creative shackles by disbanding DTP so at least the first album in this era is bound to be pretty cray
| |
This is insane, I love it. God damn all these brilliant albums coming out.
| |
Doesn’t reslly work as a single, but damn this got me hyped for the album
| |
yeah after several listens i'm really not on board. i'll still listen to the record but every time i think i'm getting into it he suddenly shifts to another idea completely. it's too zany and sporadic for its own good for me. i understand that's obviously the point but eh, just not for me.
| |
This is gonna be AOTY. Track doesn’t even sound human
| |
I can confirm that the rest of the album is less scatterbrained than this song - it's easily the worst track on the record. Rest is pretty neat - still very grandiose as modern Devin seems very keen to maintain that
| |
How u get???
| |
I have my sources. Anyway, the album's second half is definitely stronger, it takes a while to build up momentum - though I'm not rating it above Ziltoid or Deconstruction just yet
| |
in other words he pirated it
*calls the cops*
| |
if this is the worst song on the album the album is top 3 devy lol
| |
Hmm if Zilt and Decon are your standards I'm not sure we'd agree on the album anyway
| |
Wtf did I just listen to lol
| |
What Ben said, those are near the bottom of my ranking.
| |
yeah the zany, scatterbrained devin aren't my speed
| |
Like a btbam song
| |
"As an overture it could definitely work depending on the rest of the album, it's a little too spastic for me though and never really allows any particular moment to get going enough for it to be enjoyable."
