I surprisingly found both of these songs okay. Wasteland kinda reminds me of Killswitch Engage almost.

Holy shit just checked twitter!

RIP Phil... can't believe it's real, only 43 years old, and just before the new album too. That's so fucked. COD is unknown at this time but viagra OD is strongly suspected.

I actually liked Everything's Wrong.

Wasteland was pretty meh, especially that chorus.

Everything's Wrong was pretty cool, but I bet it'll grow old really fast. Wasteland had some decent heavier parts but was ultimately forgettable. It's a step back in the right direction but that doesn't necessarily mean it's good.

Album will probably be a solid 2.5 at best, but that's still a huge improvement over their last 3 records.

Wasteland might be one of their best songs in a while. Everything's Wrong sounds super conflicted though. It sounds like the band's current, more aggressive direction is in a constant struggle with their recent albums' radio rock archetype. I have some hope for this album though.

Wasteland had some nice riffs. Everything's Wrong sounds like it would be their radio single.

Gonna go spin This Darkened Heart in staunch protest of the direction this band took.

This is the musical equivalent of getting back with your ex, holding out hope that he/she is gonna be the same as before.
