New Skyharbor music

Indian/American band Skyharbor have released a brand new song named "Dim," which will be part of their upcoming third studio album entitled "Sunshine Dust," planned for a release in the late summer via eOne/Good Fight Music records. Also, this will be the first album to feature new vocalist Eric Emery, who replaced Daniel Tompkins (now on Tesseract) in 2015.

Song’s good! It’s a little straight-forward sounding and seems like they’ve opted to go full-on prog Metal now (no Djent influence to be found). I still think it works though so I’m excited.

Their progress without Dan seemed a little choppy for a while there but I’m glad to see they’re finally gonna put something out.

Good stuff, looking forward to the album. Artwork is sick.

Eric sounds very similar to Dan, so the lack of a vocal shift is somewhat (un?)interesting in a good way.

Track is good, but missing some flavor early on, to be honest. Picks up past the halfway mark, though. Will be interested to hear how this one turns out.

Skyharbor lost their biggest asset because instrumentally they are quite bog standard. From what I've heard so far, this new vocalist is struggling with writing a compelling melody. Things are not looking good for Skyharbor.

Sounds like Sleep Parade or Dead Letter Circus mixed with some scene stuff.

Vocalist likes singing at the edge of his range that's for sure.

Sounds like an evolution from 'Guiding Lights'. Eric is a great replacement for Dan; the real loss was Anup Sastry leaving the band.

I thought the song started to pick up as it went on. I dig it a lot.

This doesn't come close to hitting as hard as Evolution did when it dropped... :/
