Front Line Assembly reveal WarMech

2018-05-12 by Raul Stanciu STAFF | 17 Comments
Front Line Assembly teamed again with Carbon Games to record the soundtrack to AirMech's follow-up, entitled WarMech. The accompanying OST will be released on June 18 (digital download & CD) through Artoffact Records. The limited edition double vinyl is currently scheduled to ship at the beginning of August.

WarMech features Jeremy Inkel's final recordings, as he passed away on January 13 this year due to complications from asthma.

The band also debuted 'Mechvirus', which can be listened to below:

these guys need to do another studio album at some point. As cool as these soundtracks are, I'm dying to hear more Bill Leeb.

I was about to say the same thing... except I'd want Rhys Fulber back, too. Their best albums are the ones he participates on.

As far as I know, Rhys Fulber is back in the band (not live, but part of the recording team)

That would be awesome. I doubt they'd ever be somewhere I could see them live anyway, so recording is all I need.

Yeah, they don't tour much these days. Much like Skinny Puppy, I hope they release something new asap.

I did see Skinny Puppy on their last tour in Dallas, Texas. They still have it. It was awesome.

"except I'd want Rhys Fulber back, too."

From their Facebook page it seems that Fulber is coming back for their next album

They've been working on a new studio album with Rhys Fulber alongside Warmech which has been finished for a long time but postponed in order to be released at the same time as the game.
So, I suppose it won't be long before they release a new album too.

I'm more worried about Skinny Puppy.

And KMFDM is yet again about to release a new album too.

Hell Yeah was released august 2017. It's ridiculous.

KMFDM has lost my interest. They don't even try to do anything different anymore. I'm not too worried about Skinny Puppy releasing another album. I haven't really enjoyed one of their albums since The Process.

The main interest I still have in KMFDM is "will they dare do it again ?"
I love the last four Skinny Puppy although they have little in common with what they used to do. At least, they still evolve.
Ho, and PIG too is a releasing a new album. I loved last year's The Gospell and the Prey & Obey EP.
