Krallice Drop New Album...pt.2

2017-11-21 by Xenophanes STAFF | 18 Comments
Krallice, for the second time this fall, have dropped a new album. While Go Be Forgotten was announced with last month’s Loüm, the release is nonetheless a surprise.

The physical release is still months away, with the placeholder of “early 2018” being noted. However, you can stream or purchase the digital record on their bandcamp.

Is this their lofi bm album? That cover. These dudes are prolific but don't think I'll ever be able to get into them. There are some really awesome moments on that opening track but I don't think I've ever found a band with so many annoying tremolo riffs

Production is just bad on some parts. And I don't mean bad like in old school-bm bad, but more like "this-production-doesn't-fit-the-music-at-all-and-makes-it-sound-stupid-and-flat"-bad.

And then suddenly a few riffs later the production does fit. Not sure what to think of this.

I think the production is fine. Ive always had issue with the weird “distant” sound of the vocals but honestly if they were front and center I probably would complain too

Don't like this band's earlier stuff, but both the full length and the EP from last year rule. Gonna jam the new ones tonight.

Just checked Loum for the first time since it dropped and it’s probably towards the bottom for me

And it sucks, no surprise. Ever since they were an album or two outside of Profound Lore Records, it's literally been cranking out mediocre material like clockwork.
