No it isn't, just formatted weird. When you follow it, it automatically adds http:// before the https:// in the link. Just have to delete the https:// Common problem around here, must come from share links or something.

Corrected link:

EDIT: The link is fixed.
|
| |
that's because sputnik hates https links yet people insist on using them anyway even though they never work. Change it to a regular http link and it'll work properly.
|
| |
Oh cool, that worked! Still it's incredibly stupid that sputnik can't handle https links.
|
| |
yeah well sput prob doesn't have the money to catch up with this decade, so we make do :p

tbh i really like the new Amenra but for some reason it's just not hitting me quite as hard as V did
probably just need to give it more time, idk

Album's pretty good, the namesake track is quite an emotional rollercoaster.

album of the fucking year
Hell fucking no. This is by-the-numbers Converge. Nothing stood out as a pleasant surprise like their last few albums.
|
| |
how could this possibly be by the numbers converge? it’s probably their most varied album to date, and there is tons of stuff they haven’t touched on before. that’s a crazy statement.
|
| |
Not really when they've covered all of this territory between You Fail Me and Axe to Fall. Also when you say varied album, Axe to Fall was that album. Just my two cents. I still enjoy the album but fucking come on, lets not jizz all over this like every other Converge albums.
|
| |
Album mostly kicks ass. Not a fan of either of the slower tracks. The rest are all great.
|
| |
Yep, slower numbers on here are crap.
|
| |
I like the title track, it brings the feels.
|
| |
id really like to know how tracks like Arkhipov Calm, A Single Tear, Trigger, Murk & Marrow, and Thousands of Miles Between Us are "by the numbers Converge". Say what you want about the content itself, but really the only by the numbers tracks here are Reptilian, Eye of the Quarrel, Cannibals, and Broken By Light imo. And they're all good. Albums a solid 4 maaaaayyybbbee a 4.5 if I'm feelin it a little more later.
|
| |
pretty straightforward I think for a converge album, although maybe a little bit more varied than their last. that being said this is pretty awesome all the way through, wasn't disappointed for a second
|
| |
How the fuck did I miss this???
|
| |
Never been a fan (outside of You Fail Me maybe). Will this be the one to finally convert me?
|
| |
maybe, I've seen some people commenting this was the first Converge album they really got into. also it has a bit of a darker YFM vibe on some of the tracks so you'd probably appreciate that. it has a lot more melodic moments than usual too, basically the album is really varied and accessible (for Converge standards at least) so this looks like a great starting point for getting into them. oh and performances by all members are one of their best imo, Ben's and Jake's especially.
|
| |
Thanks dude, will def check this one out.
