Guilty pleasure band. I'm excited, band can stay exactly as they are and they get a pass for nostalgia.

Ben has turned into George Lucas, in the sense that all his minions around him laugh at his bad jokes so they don't upset him and lose their job.

Say what you want about the band, but they know how to bring the riffs at least. Their songs are fun as fuck to play

I want to be excited but Dark Before Dawn was so damn mediocre.

I mean they'll probably just rewrite Phobia for the 3rd time, might as well just go listen to that.

I'd say DBD was a 3.0 album (maybe 3.5 at a push). The only reason I don't enjoy it more is that we waited six years for it, through a massive lineup shift, and it literally adds nothing new to their sound

Yep last album was just average. Never been a big fan of them but like some songs.

Love them . Every album they put out since 2007 is great IMO . Hope the new one would be great as well . Back at 2015 Benj said the next album would include influences from other band mates so I hope it's true but won't change the music too much

The album was ready when the rest of the band joined Ben that's why it sounds the same.
We'll see what's gonna be on the new album .

this is only good news if true. i think we've seen the extent of ideas that Ben has on his own by this point.

BB were always the best radio rock/post-grunge band. Nostalgia googles are strong with these guys. Didn't even realize they released an album in 2015.

this will be the first album not entirely written by Ben, so should be a little different to what they've done before

'sure it will be just as boring as the last'

Unfortunately it's probably going to be the case.

Here's hoping it's actually semi-decent.

It WAS boring. It was bland and generic and considering how long it took to make it really lacked in newer more modern material.

They basically made Phobia 2. Hooray for variety.

You just aren’t a tru Breaking Benjamin fan. Only a tru fan could realize the subtle nuances and complexities of their last album
