Anneke's Vuur releases My Champion 2017-09-10 by RoderickINM | 11 Comments | VUUR, the metal outfit fronted by singer Anneke van Giersbergen (ex-The Gathering) have released a new song from their upcoming debut album "In This Moment We Are Free - Cities," which will be released on October 20th via InsideOut Music.
The song is called "My Champion - Berlin" and according to the band it talks about the city of Berlin after the Second World War. Similar concepts will be developed on every track on the album, as each one have the name of a city that have been important to Anneke's through her career.
