Rosetta premiere Detente 2017-08-31 by Metalstyles | 12 Comments | Post-metal giants Rosetta have unveiled a new song called "Détente" via Decibel Magazine. In keeping with the developments that took place on the band's last album Quintessential Ephemera (2015), "Détente" features more prominent clean vocals alongside main vocalist Mike Armine's traditional harsh delivery, but as is always the case with Rosetta, there is still an abundance of tension and heavy, enveloping guitarwork to be found in the song. "Détente" is an early taste of Rosetta's sixth studio album, titled Utopioid, which is slated for a September 1st, pay-what-you-wish digital release via the band's bandcamp site.
