They genuinely started to improve because of Jayy Von Monroe, who's actually quite talented. Scissors was only as bad as it was because Dahvie paid Jayy 1000 to write and record the entire album in two weeks and just hopped in at the last second to do two songs of his own and put vocals on some of the other tracks. Once Jayy left, the quality of everything dropped like an anvil.
