New Voyager singles, album

2017-05-09 by Kars Landman | 3 Comments
Australian progressive metal band Voyager have released two singles for their upcoming record Ghost Mile. The two singles utilize the atmosphere and heavy riffing present on their last record V more, and sees the band going their own, progressive way a little more. Listen to 'Ascension' and the title track here:

Way earlier the band also released the single 'Misery Is Only Company', which also seems to be making its way into Ghost Mile.

I think they improved a lot with these singles, I like them a lot more than the songs on their last record!

This band continues to amaze me. I never heard of them until I saw them open for Evergrey about a year and a half ago. They were so good live that I instantly bought their album "The Meaning of I" after they finished their set. I was blown away by how unique and fresh sounding they were compared to so many other bands. All three of these songs are great as well, especially Ascension. Can't wait for this album!

Well, I never really liked their music in particular, thought they were 'just decent'. When I saw them live that changed though, they have a great live performance! That's the main reason i'm still looking out for these guys and I'm very glad I enjoy every single they released thus far.
