This is really good, but hopefully not all songs on the album are this mellow
| |
you linked the wrong video you fucking cretin
| |
Jazzy as hell.
| |
Absolutely brilliant.
| |
Fuck.....2016 is incredible.
| |
Tosin is a black man
| |
prefer this side of AaL. Hopefully, new album will follow in this vein.
| |
I can handle a whole album of that sexy jam
| |
more METAL. But in all seriousness it's a solid song
| |
Sounds like a grower, iffy about it after the first two listens. Seems kind of disjointed to me
| |
Sounds like a song you'd hear at Panera
| |
That was lovely
| |
Love it
| |
I've only heard their s/t, but it rules. Def gonna jam the new album hard.
| |
badass
| |
I would be totally down for a whole album of this
| |
Awesome
| |
Not what I expected, but this song rules. Glad to see them moving away from the djent stuff.
| |
"Tosin is a black man"
You've convinced me.
| |
This is beautiful. So many good albums this year, and it seems AAL will be adding to the bunch.
| |
"Tosin is a black man"
gasps
| |
This was wonderful.
| |
absolutely loved this
| |
Grew on me quite a bit, nice.
| |
Hopefully the album is full of these jazzy moments. Great song.
| |
Wow
Tosin actually managed to write a decent song
Huh
| |
its amazing agreed
| |
Not available :/
| |
this is v nice
| |
This is really good. Love the progression that starts around 1:25.
I think the song feels very cohesive and that gives me a lot of hope for the rest of the album.
I just hope that there is some more metal on this album, I like the softer side of them but my personal favorite Aal songs on any of their records always end up being songs like Earth Depature and Tooth and Claw.
Really stoked for this.
| |
this song is directionless and terrible
| |
Matt Garstka is the best drummer in prog right now no debate
| |
great song
| |
song has more direction than your life
| |
I came for Matt's drumming but stayed for the guitars. Song is lovely, perhaps this can top S/T which is still my favorite AAL album.
| |
Got a strong John Butler "Ocean" vibe from that intro riff, but it's got Tosin and Javier trademark stamp throughout. This is shaping up to be at least on par with Motion and might even top s/t. I've been on a big Plini binge lately and this track has that same airy, mellow atmosphere. Awesome song.
| |
Man I haven't listened to Ocean in ages. Need to remedy that. This song is pretty.
| |
I like how only after one song two people already give it a 5
| |
do you really like that
| |
lol
| |
I'm torn, but not necessarily in a bad way. I really dig AaL, and The Joy of Motion is a fantastic album. However, I wish it had couple more moments like this song to keep things varied, because that's honestly my only real gripe with the album is that all of the songs, despite being discernibly different, simply sounded too similar with their general heaviness. So I'm happy that this song is a bit more relaxed, but I don't want the entire album to be like this. Finding the right balance of The Joy of Motion and this will be the perfect sweet spot for me.
| |
Pretty good
| |
Didn't really dig their llast album all that well, but this sounds brain-churningly amazing. Production is A1!!
| |
Some parts were a little choppy, but this was great otherwise.
| |
That album cover is bad ass!
| |
If the rest of the album is at this level it's an easy 5/5
| |
Sounds heavily inspired by indian classical. Imagine if tosin played the sitar on this album....I'd orgasm.
| |
indian classical
| |
Me like it
| |
It's a pretty cool track. At first I thought this is nice and all but where's the time?? Then went 'ahhh' when the 6/8 became more apparent.
