some unreleased tunes for paying at least a pound, I'm in

Assumed this was referring to Asa Akira. Only slightly disappointed though

I thought it was Asa the electronic producer, also only slightly disappointed.

Oh wait, it is. I'm an idiot.

That linked song is such a hot track (as is the whole EP). I need to get more into Asa, I mostly just know him from his collab work with Sorrow (or their remixes of each other).

I only know him really through his collab work with Sorrow and KOAN Sound (especially their circa-2010 work, so so good), so I'm interested to hear more of his work. I must say that I'm not really sure which side of him I prefer, though - his grime goes hard as fuck but his more melodic and garage-y stuff is phenomenal as well

Yeah that Legendary EP was something else.

His solo stuff is quite great, though you get the feeling that, at times, he's more interested in themes and soundscapes than actual songs. Which is by no means a negative, but some of his later stuff gets a little meandering at times. Fantastic background ambiance though
