Andy Stott announces new LP

2014-09-22 by Typhoner | 10 Comments
Andy Stott has announced a new solo album, Faith In Strangers, out November 17th through Modern Love, after already releasing Drop The Vowels this year as part of Millie & Andrea (a collaboration with Miles Whittaker).

The album follows 2012's acclaimed Luxury Problems and will, just like that album, feature Alison Skidmore's vocals. A press release states Faith In Strangers will sound "somewhere between Ron Hardy, Prefab Sprout, Dome, Actress, Cocteau Twins and Arthur Russell." If you're eager to find out what all that exactly means, you can already stream album track 'Violence', over at RA:
