Cool

It's an excellent record and one of the psychedelic rock highlights of the year.
| |
Did you ever listen to Farflung? A Wound In Eternity is sooooo good
| |
I haven't but I'll check them out. I'm digging Weird Owl too.
| |
Glad I showed them to you!
Yawning Man are also pretty swee
| |
I know! I've been a Yawning Man fan for some years now. It started in highschool with all the QOTSA/Kyuss madness lol.
| |
What's their second album like? The problem with the first one was that the guitar tone got a bit repetitive :/
| |
The second isn't far from Rock Formations, but it's more polished I think. There are some amazing songs like Blue Foam, Camel Tow or Far-Off Adventure. Still, their best tracks are Rock Formations and Perpetual Oyster IMO (Blue Foam comes close too)
| |
Really enjoying this one. Not far off their first album, I've not heard the second one either yet for some reason.
So Yawning Man are like this then? Not checked them out yet but always assumed they were more like Fatso Jetson.
| |
They aren't similar to Samsara. They are a more gentle version of Fatso Jetson. It's mostly that lush, desert rock sound with occasional heavier riffs (and instrumental only).
