Hey look! They fixed the crap production from their last album. This actually has bass to it.
| |
@Dally: I was thinking similar
| |
This was pretty sick, but I miss the old Piggy D
| |
It has a low end or it has a bass you can hear? I'm hoping it's not the second one.
| |
not enugh bast beets
| |
Not like amazing or anything, but it's definitely quite enjoyable. Vocals are pretty fierce on this shit
| |
sweet, band rules
| |
band slays
| |
Better than anything off of Book Burner, sweet.
| |
Part of me thinks this is an older song
| |
Damn, this is actually pretty fucking sweet.
Dunno bout that Xing, the vox sound pretty different from any I've heard in the past.
| |
There's riffs so its cool, drums don't seem to bother me.
| |
Parts of the vocal style are crazy different from any of JRs usual deliveries, but a lot of it has that real throaty yell he used on Phantom Limb. This is just too good and raw for me to believe that it's new after the shit stains that Book Burner and that fucking horrible EP were
| |
Or maybe just maybe...they've turned a corner :D
| |
I want to believe ;-;
| |
I don't know I thought this kicked ass.
| |
Do you think maybe Pig Destroyer suffered from ANb being a bit more productive in the last few years? Almost like Scott used all his best riffs on Agorapocalypse and that bunch of splits that came out after that?
Hopefully he has rebuilt some creative momentum!
| |
Always enjoyed this band despite the backlash from elitists over the years.
| |
Agreed, they've always been great. Even if Book Burner wasn't absolutely stellar it still had some great moments (Baltimore Strangler, Permanent Funeral for example) despite feeling a little by-the-numbers at times
| |
Prowler in the Yard > All
| |
Pretty good!
| |
This is tight. Digging the production
| |

It was still Pig Destroyer and more of a good thing is never bad.
| |
this is nice
| |
Book Burner wasn't even bad. The production wasn't great and the drums took a big step down, but it still riffs and grooves harder than most bands.
| |
no, Book Burner wasnt bad. it wasnt great either though, the production was the main problem. it sounded so weak and thin. this single is better than anything on that album and the production rules.
| |
not bad
| |
hey not bad boys. not bad at all
| |
Dang, this is awesome. Nice surprise. I enjoyed Book Burner, but like others have said, this is better than anything on that album.
| |
MF Doom, Run the Jewels, then Pig Destroyer.
Fun-looking compilation.
| |
Surprisingly good
