awful song hopefully it's the worst on the EP
|
| |
"Awful song"
More like awful band
|
| |
their self titled is 5/5 man don't be fooled
|
| |
how bad this it?
|
| |
One good album + Four albums ranging from bad to atrocious = Horrible band
|
| |
The debut and Artwork were awesome. Don't know if I can bring myself to listen to a song by them called "Iddy Bitty" though
|
| |
thanks for the information xingking! although they haven't made a downright bad album yet
|
| |
I liked it!! If I remember correctly.
|
| |
it's pretty bad man lol
|
| |
I didn't pay attention to what they said it was political?
|
| |
I didn't notice that either
|
| |
you mean like green day political or refused political?
help me out here, plz
|
| |
The only good thing this band has ever done was self-titled.
Fuck them since that point. DIE BERT DIE!!!
|
| |
Don't say that or Atari will be mean to you :[
|
| |
yeah they haven't been as good since self-titled but still not that bad. Vulnerable had some of the better slow songs they've done in years.
|
| |
@xingking,
i'm never mean lol
|
| |
You made me cry for like a solid hour or two
|
| |
i tried to block it out of my memory cause it was one of the worst songs they've done
|
| |
nah it's good
|
| |
Obvious fanboy here. This band can't do me any wrong. Sounds sorta like progression from their newest album which is my least favorite. S/T will always be there best album judging from this song.
|
| |
You didn't like Artwork?
|
| |
artwork and vulnerable are better than lies for the liars
|
| |
It's a new low for a band that has been really fucking low for a long time
|
| |
S/T
Artwork
Love & Death
Lies
Vulnerable
|
| |
This EP is already out actually I'm listening to it and I don't understand how it can be this poor. On song 3 so we'll see after I finish the 8min and 20min track. 20min track will probably have a 12min gap of silence.
|
| |
agreed on S/T but in love and death is 2nd place. I like artwork but it's kind of boring at times.
|
| |
Artwork and Love & Death are so close but I like every track off of Artwork and can't say the same for Love & Death
|
| |
"lol no"
yup. lies for the liars is the worst album by the used other than this damn EP.
|
| |
Title track on this EP is hellabad I don't know how I'll be able to stand the 20min track. This song is seriously 3 min song and then people talking.. I'm not sure if it's supposed to sound artistic or something...
|
| |
it does it used to be my favorite album from them for a while, vulnerable is their worst it ain't bad but it's so forgettable
|
| |
plus lies had a lot of sweet b-sides that ended up in shallow believer ep which I enjoy as well
|
| |
Shallow Believer is great
|
| |
I like lies for the liars I have it as a 3/5 I just don't think it's better than their last two. shallow believer was cool I need to hear it again
|
| |
S/T is defiantly great but In Love & Death is my fav, I don't know I loved every song plus it introduced me to screaming entirely. Everything after felt like a steady decline, not horrible at all just by the time vulnerable came they seemed to be outta ideas :/. Hoping this is good,I'm not in love with this song (or the.political direction) but it does feel like a progression from vulnerable.
|
| |
He wears his heart safety pinned to his backpack, his backpack is all that he knows
|
| |
It's bad
|
| |
still jam s/t. just listened to blue and yellow last night. awesome album. taste of ink is still great after 10 years as well. too bad they blow now
|
| |
Oh it's political? Guess I won't listen, only came here for the angst.
|
| |
@andcas, agreed on smother me beautiful song but liar liar (burn in hell) is pure cheese lol
|
| |
fromage for sure
|
| |
angst > politics every day
ive had s/t spinning in my ride for weeks now. really digging the nostalgia right now
|
| |
S/T
Like 2 songs off love and death
Shallow Believer.
Lost track after lies for the liars. Kind of grew out if these guys and got junz on.
|
| |
I like most of their stuff, Vulnerable was a really good album, but would have to agree this is the worst thing they've done in a fair while. Apparently the last track on the EP is 20 minutes long, should be an interesting listen.
|
| |
Last track is sleeping music
|
| |
I thought Artwork was pretty good.
|
| |
Andcas those are bonus tracks, not on the original edition of LFTL.
|
| |
I know those two tracks from Shallow Believer, not as bonuses even though that's what they are originally.
|
| |
yeah those aren't on my copy of lies for the liars lol if they were i'd prolly have it at a 3.5. First time i ever heard those songs was on shallow believer
|
| |
Yeah Shallow Believer was better than Lies for the Liars to be honest.
|
| |
ya damn dark days is bertter than i remembered
|
| |
"We are the light in the tunnel, we are the living and dying."
|
| |
Love that song pj, The Used suck at picking which songs to put on their albums and which ones to make b-sides.
|
| |
andcas, you are so lulzy
like, all the time
|
| |
plz keep bringin the lulz
|
| |
Happy 60,000 andcas
|
| |
Thankfully this is the worst track on the EP (and probably their discography) by far. Thought Criminal and the title track (the first three minutes anyway) are really cool.
|
| |
The second song and the 20 minute ambient track are my favorite parts of this EP.
|
| |
This thread is brimming with intelligence.
|
| |
you like new fall out boy, I don't need to say anything else boom
|
| |
Sounds as if Bert's voice has gotten worse, the flow is really bad towards to beginning.
Liked Artwork, Love & Death, and a few tracks from their other two older albums.
|
| |
"proper english", says the man who doesn't use punctuation or capitalization, to the man who is being facetious.
Also, in all seriousness, your reaction to FOB is bullshit, so I rate it higher than I normally would in reaction to your/others' overreaction. But, yes, I enjoy it for what it is.
*ahem* lulzercopter
|
| |
The song is bad. I like how fucked up Bert always seems to be, but this is lame. I cannot stand when conceited bands try
to use their music as a political sopabox to the teeny boppers who listen to their music. It's pathetic and, moreover, I
doubt the drug riddled members of The Used have any real grasp on the current political climate (or reality for that
matter). The video just reminds me of 30 Seconds to Mars and that is a very, very bad thing.
|
| |
I can't really comment on the political message, I need to listen to it again.
I'd hope they haven't embarrassed themselves, I did like the sound of it, overall. Not great, but, hey, it's a song. Sure is.
|
| |
choo choo!
