Fates Warning to Enter Studio

After nine years, Fates Warning are finally set to enter the studio and record a new album. They will begin recording in April with a projected release some time in the fall through Inside Out Music.

This album will mark the first time the band has released a full length through any label other than Metal Blade. The recording will feature founding guitarist Jim Matheos, classic lineup members Ray Alder (vocals) and Frank Aresti (guitars), longtime bassist Joey Vera and drummer Bobby Jarzombek.

Only heard a couple of the band's early albums which were good. They probably have to grow on me more.

Looking forward to this. Hopefully it's on the same level as Arch/Matheos (what i consider the most recent FW album), which was utterly fantastic. Unfortunately John Arch won't be on it, but I like Ray as well. Hopefully he'll put in a good performance.
