There really wasn't that many North American dates on there.

Pretty sure they'll be adding more.

Sounds like a dream tour for me, absolutely love all three groups. Hope there's a UK tour in the near future.

Plus, seeing Devin in London in October, gonna be the event of the year for me.

One of the most depressing band... surprised most of their fans are still alive.

I first heard these guys open up for opeth. And I was not impressed. But I did get a few of their records and really enjoyed them. I dont think their style translates well live. There is not much energy. But it is good music.

Katatonia are way better than Opeth live now. No idea what band you guys were hearing.

I love Katatonia alone and missed them on the Opeth tour. So, I will definitely be going to this show. I bet if you people actually knew Katatonia material before seeing them live, it would have come across better.

katatonia is in no way better than opeth live. heavily reliant on backing tracks. opeth may not have the best setlist these days, but they absolutely slay the songs that they do play. katatonia isn't bad live, but just no where near opeth levels of awesome.

I too saw Katatonia and Opeth live, and I really must say I rather enjoyed Katatonia more. Opeth didn't play a SINGLE song with anything remotely heavy/growling vocals. It was boring. Boring songs, between each of which Mikael talked for five minutes about random shit. Sure they played them well… but the emotion wasn't there. Katatonia closed with "Without God", and it was fantastic.

I've been waiting 5 god damn years for a Stolen Babies album...maybe now is the time when they actually do put out some new material.

i never said opeth was better live. i actually was really disappointed in their set. i just couldnt get into katatonia. but hearing a band for this first time live, it is difficult to get into it. i enjoy their music.

Yeah, I went to see Katatonia headline a tour and recently went to the Opeth and Katatonia show. For me, they were just ok live both times. And I love that band.
