Are they good live, i.e. good enough for someone like me who doesn't love them to go and see them?

They are spectacular live. Saw them just weeks ago. Too bad 2/3 of the warm-up bands sucked

I'd love to see these guys live, but I haven't really heard any word of a tour over here in the US.

Hmm, might go and see them in Islington in November then. I should listen to more of their stuff first though

yeah you should definitely go if you have the chance. Amorphis are a really energetic live band; they've got great connection with the audience and songs sound as good, if not even better than on record.

I might pick it up, but why do they play Silver Bride before Sampo?
