Having listened to The Great Misdirect only, I humbly beg to differ, but you have probably listened to more Between The Buried and Me, so you probably know better.

What I listened to was Opeth, Death, legacy Dream Theater, and '80s shredding guitar metal.

Voivod coming with the heat yet again. Basically a slightly more "serious" BTBAM, but it's really badass.

having listened to this a few more times, this album is like if someone had only ever listened to the BTBAM albums from "Colors" to "Colors II". are we sure this isn't an elaborate prank by the band themselves?
