This has no replay value for me, same as Holy Roller and their other strictly heavy songs. I think Silk is the best of the bunch but yeah I feel like they throw away the bulk of their strengths when they make tracks like this.

Mike doesn't want to write hard guitar material any more so he just chugs his way through and it's boring af, and Courtney lacks the range or interesting flow to add much.

If I want heavy Spiritbox I'll just listen to the Mara material or that first EP.

Didn't mean to imply she has no range, obviously there's some variation in there, but even so, her purely harsh vocal performances end up feeling very samey to me by the time the songs reach their end. I firmly stand by my comment on her flow, certainly on this track.

Listen here, Durrzo, either you love every second of Courtney's vocal performance on every single song she records or you're a sexist. Those are the rules. Those are MY rules.

How painfully bland

I personally love the occasional beat down track from them because it breaks up the flow of VCVCBC stuff they do normally. Even though they are way better at the latter

i love that we get all sides of spiritbox on this ep. i felt like the album was too samey with a few exceptions, and then rotoscope was also too samey. just in a different way. this ep, so far, shows all sides of the band. kinda what ive been wanting from them all along
