I would much prefer the first track to the final one, and, at least imo the first track makes sense from the perspective of the band. If a "single" is supposed to give you the first impression of the album it's promoting, why not start with literally the first cut?

Feels like this is the best track they’ve released in a long time, unfortunately that’s not saying much. So yeah, decent stuff, but too many leads and honestly, with a little care, the riffs could be so much better. I did like the chorus though. Pre-releasing the last track of an album is a total no-go for me though.

It sure is a Megadeth song in 2022. Dirk Verbeuren doing the drums is the best part about this.

no. vocal editing is painful, riffs are stale but it's actually thrash so it's getting points for hurdling the low bar.

It does get better on repeated listens. Nothing really grabbed me like their lead single from Dystopia did.

They borrow from themselves quite heavily, but I really don´t mind. I love the (amount of) solos and the old school vibe. The only gripe with it is the lack of memorable riffs. But anyway, pretty pumped for the new album. Hope it won´t be their last...

The sound is very well produced, but the hooks and melodies are not really memorable. Sounds like something out of "siri, write a metal song with lots of solos".
