I'm not sure the exact reason he left FFTL, but when he first left he started his own solo project as Sonny Moore before Skrillex and it featured plenty of singing

Feldy is a good producer. Just listened to this and the lyrics are wtf level bad.

I hate Feldmann's production, it's super glossy and strips away the power and force from the instruments.
