Based on the 3 released songs, this is gonna be one hell of a comeback album.

These three songs have been amazing, this album should be their best since Midian.

About time CoF upped their game. New guitarists have brought some freshness to them.

CoF finally stop pretending and admit that they were a symphonic bm band all along. Now all they have to do is figure out how to be a good bm band and they'll be all set.

As good as these three new COF songs are (and I DO indeed like them), something tells me that the new album as a whole will in the end disappoint me. Let's hope that "something" is wrong.

Whatever, it can't be any better than the new Teethgrinder and Dodheimsgard.

Their first 4 full lengths are all classic bm albums idk how you people don't see that, especially if you're a fan of the genre anyways.

We all know I'm a fanboy though so idk. ;]

Slight confession: Never heard a single thing from these guys. Stigma towards them kinda drew me away but for some reason I'm feeling inclined to give the new one a shot

Dude Emester listen to Midian right now. Still an amazing album with a perfect mix of older and newer sounds, then go backwards from there and if you like what you hear then jam the recent stuff too.

Woah. This is awesome. I haven't heard anything by these guys in about 4 years.

Well yeah old stuff will always reign supreme, but newer stuff isn't anywhere as near as bad as a lot of people say.

Plus they seem to be gaining more and more respect with each new song they put out, a lot of that has to do with how hard the new guitarists rip and the fact that they're clearly bringing back the symphonic approach of earlier albums. Hammer of the Witches is gonna be great stuff.

They lost both their guitar players... what happened to Allender and McIlroy? Hard to imagine a band could keep their soul after losing both of their main songwriters. Unless their bassist does a lot too or?

Don't think I've ever seen this much positive feedback in a CoF news thread here on the sput :o

That was awesome, easily best music I've heard all day after my 10hr shift. Love everything about it, really hope this means at least one track has one of those long drawn out wails that Dani did so well on Cruelty.
