Are the rest of the guys in the band such weenies that they actually need to leech another band just to get someone to do harsh vox for them? I don't even hear any harsh vocals here, either. Maybe all the epic riffzz drowned them out, idk.

neckbeardcore.

Edit: On a serious note, does anyone actually like this shit?

I listened to the song three times and I still can't figure out what part Heafy lays down some harsh death metal vocals on.

I know he did harsh vox in the last song/vid they released, but he's not at all audible through a casual listen. I don't get what the point was if they were just going to put him super low in the mix anyway.

Paincake this isn't tech death. That's for neckbeards.
I happen to like this band, not as much as I used to but I do not hate them.

Will totally ignore this and jam Sonic Firestorm, as usual when Dragonforce news makes me nostalgic.

Did the artist who did the cover for Discovery by BOO do the artwork for this as well?

According to the article, Matt Heafy's "Harsh vocals" are somewhere in the pre-chorus.

I'm not a DragonForce hater, but from the singles this album really seems utter shit. At least in this song they managed to unite correctly the chorus to the song without leaving a second of dead time like the last single.

Chorus is pretty generi-Force, as someone pointed out. But the song actually rocks pretty hard.

I was hoping for something actually new, they released the demo of this a while ago.

But seriously, what were people expecting? It's Dragonforce...and personally, the last album and both songs from this album are better than Inhuman Rampage and Ultra Beatdown, so what are people complaining about?

I don't understand the hate for Ultra Beatdown, there's some solid tracks on that album.

I can only hear Heafy on the lyric "one true destiny".

Also, song is awful.

Some solid tracks, but I found the full album to be a chore to listen to, but I can listen to Power Within or Sonic Firestorm and still want more

They can definitely play their solos live dude..

They can now. They admitted that their 2006 tour was crap bc of no in-ear monitors and their tech guy didn't even tune their
guitars.
Watch footage from the Inhuman Rampage tour vs now. Huge difference.
